Carroll County is in the process of completing the update of the comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan is prepared according to the rules for local comprehensive planning issued by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA).
The purpose of the public hearing is to inform the public that the draft comprehensive plan will be available for review and will be submitted for formal review by the Department of Community Affairs and the Three Rivers Regional Commission. Those interested in commenting on the plan are encouraged to attend the meeting. Comments will also be received during the 30-day review period. The plan will be available on the county website. The public hearing will be held at the Carroll County Board of Commissioners meeting at the Historic Court House, 323 Newnan Street, 3rd Floor Commission Chambers, Superior Court Room, Carrollton, GA 30117 at 6pm on June 6, 2023.
