E-911 Information
The mission of Carroll County E-911 is to provide the best possible, trouble free network for the citizens we serve to access emergency services by dialing 9-1-1; to provide the best tools to all service provider agencies that will enhance their response and their ability to provide public safety services; and to educate the public on the effective and appropriate use of the 911 network.

Prison / Correctional Institute
The Carroll County Correctional Institute provides housing for state and county inmates and a general labor force supporting Carroll County government. Four open bay dorms house about 220 inmates who range in security levels from medium to minimum to “trusty.”

Sheriff’s Office / Jail
In Georgia, the sheriff is both a constitutional and a county officer. The constitutionality of the office derives primarily from English Common Law. Its status as a county office is drawn from a number of general constitutional provisions relating to the office.
